Christian Easter Wishes

Christians on the Easter day wish each other and take hearty wishes on the special occasion of Easter holiday. People gather together in the church and pass their Christian Easter wishes early in the morning on the Easter day and wish a good luck for the future. Easter is a day where Jesus Christ arose from the death and led a new life so people greet each other by Christian Easter wishes and depict the joy and happiness on this day.

Christian Easter wishes can be used in the greeting cards and can be sent to far distance relatives and express your wishes and love in the form of wishes. Christian Easter wishes is believed to bring luck in life, if passed among friends and your loved ones. Christian Easter wishes can be used by the priests in the church during the mass and wish all the people attending the mass.

Some of the Easter Wishes are listed below:

Jesus said, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25). As you have shown me by your friendship and love I have come to know a deeper meaning to life. Thank you.

As flowers, trees and the earth burst forth to renew life and provide a message of hope for all, I have joy in knowing you and having you as a friend.

The earth was silent and still and all appeared cold and dead until that moment of Resurrection. I take joy at this time in expressing my love for you and wishing you this season and many seasons of joy and happiness.

Let every man and woman count himself immortal.  Let him catch the revelation of Jesus in his resurrection.  Let him say not merely, “Christ is risen,” but “I shall rise.”

 ……..Phillips Brooks

Easter is not a time for groping through dusty, musty tomes or tombs to disprove spontaneous generation or even to prove life eternal.  It is a day to fan the ashes of dead hope, a day to banish doubts and seek the slopes where the sun is rising, to revel in the faith which transports us out of ourselves and the dead past into the vast and inviting unknown.

I worship you Lord! You did not enter your holy city Jerusalem on the back of a war horse, but humbly and on a donkey. You knew that you were surrounded by murderers, yet you came in peace, and by your sacrifice you would utterly conquer death before the week had passed. You, oh Lord, are blessed and worthy of my praise. You have saved your people. I say, “You are my king!”… I long to live in the city where you sit on the throne! Establish your Kingdom, so that your people can live in peace. Jesus, I bow before you, and I will sing your praises until your Kingdom comes and is established, and forever after.

……David Maddalena

The fasts are done; the Aves said;
The moon has filled her horn
And in the solemn night I watch
Before the Easter morn.
So pure, so still the starry heaven,
So hushed the brooding air,
I could hear the sweep of an angel’s wings
If one should earthward fare.
